What You Need to Know about Workers Compensation
Presenters: SAFE Work Manitoba and WCB representatives
This is an introductory session about the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) which provides benefits and services when you have been hurt at work. In this session, SAFE Work Manitoba and WCB representatives will discuss worker safety rights, the right to claim compensation if you are injured at work, coverage and benefits, and what to do if you suspect a workplace is interfering with an injured worker’s right to claim compensation. There will be time for questions.
You are also welcome to send any specific questions you’d like addressed during the presentation to us, and we will pass them on to the presenters.
