You’re Not Alone: Join OHC’s new Injured Worker Support Group
Work injuries can affect more than just your body — they can impact your confidence, your routine, and your sense of purpose. That’s why we’re creating a safe and understanding space where injured and ill workers can come together, share their experiences, and support one another.
Starting November 4, 2025, OHC is piloting a 6-Month Peer-Led Injured Worker Support Group — a welcoming space for individuals navigating recovery after a workplace injury or illness. Sessions will be co-facilitated by a peer leader with lived experience of recovery and an occupational health nurse.
What to Expect:
Each session includes a brief educational segment on recovery, well-being, and life after injury, followed by open discussion where you can share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who understand your journey.
Program Details:
- When: Starting November 4, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM (attend as many sessions as you wish over the 6-month pilot)
- Where: Virtual and in-person options based on group preferences
- Who: Open to injured and ill workers at any stage of recovery
- Cost: Free
- First Session: Virtual, limited to 30 participants
Healing is stronger in community. We’re here to create a safe, empowering space where you can learn, connect, and rebuild alongside others.
