Life Story Board introductory workshop

The Vidaview Life Story Board is an innovative, visual-tactile narrative tool
- for counsellors, therapists, social workers and mental health professionals in client-centred care;
- social science researchers and graduate students interested in a novel visual qualitative interview tool
- interests in its use in narrative writing, creative arts, community and cultural contexts
Workshop Objectives:
- to introduce the Life Story Board and its use in assessment, counselling, and research.
- to orient participants to the LSB process and toolkit
The workshop will be an engaging mix of presentation, orientation, and demonstration of the Life Story Board. The afternoon is a hands-on experiential practice to explore how it may apply in your use scenario.
The workshop will be held at the MFL Occupational Health Centre, 167 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg (Room 1001 – Training Room)
Space is limited to 10 participants (COVID precautions, masks required)
Workshop Fee: $50 + HST; Student reduced rate available $25

Robert Chase MD is an assistant professor at the University of Manitoba and occupational health physician at the MFL Occupational Health Centre. He developed Life Story Board methods and supports its training and research
The MFL Occupational Health Centre is located in the Klinic Community Health building, 167 Sherbrook Ave., on the corner of Sara. Parking is available behind the building.
