Cory Graham has worked as an industrial audiometric for 22 years, and custom hearing protection technician. Cory is the President and owner of Hearing Innovators Inc since 2013, and President and owner of Protec Hearing Inc since December 1 2024. Aside from hearing screenings and managing hearing conservation programs in workplaces all over the country, his main areas of specialty are noise surveys and custom ear molds.
In this session, we will review current regulation and its application to prevent workplace noise and the resulting hearing loss associated with this 100 % preventable affliction. We will learn about the ear, how it works, and how noise destroys our hearing system. Additionally, a review of methods for reducing workplace noise and the control measures to implement when reduction is not possible.
