Public Presentation – Protecting workers in the pandemic: What needs to be done about airborne transmission and why?

December 14, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Members of the Canadian Aerosol Transmission Coalition will talk about their activities, recommendations and accomplishments designed to truly protect workers in the current pandemic. Members come from a variety of backgrounds, bringing with them skills and experiences related to occupational health principles and practices, microbiology and infectious diseases, medicine, ventilation, respirators, cleaning/disinfecting products and using the law.

Several Coalition members will focus on the protections that all workers need, and why, including a new classroom ventilation calculator. There will be lots of opportunities for discussion about how to deal with practical situations that participants face and how Coalition goals can be supported in Manitoba.
