Mel Myers Labour Conference – OHC is the recipient of the proceeds this year

The 14th Annual Mel Myers Labour Conference was held on March 19th and 20th, 2015.  The event was once again a great success!  A total of approximately 350 union leaders and labour lawyers were in attendance.  Topics covered included Workers Charged and Convicted of a Crime, Employment Issues in the Healthcare Sector, and Human Rights in the Workplace, amongst others.

The recipient of the proceeds of this year’s conference is the MFL Occupational Health Centre.  The MFL Occupational Health Centre is a community health centre funded by Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and donations.  The Centre helps workers, employers, and joint health and safety committees to improve workplace health and safety conditions and eliminate hazards.  The firm is thrilled to support such a worthy cause.
