The International Student Workers’ Health and Safety Project finished on March 31, 2025. We would like to thank Manitoba Settlement Support Services Integration Programs Branch, Labour and Immigration for funding this project.
There were over 100 International Students in Manitoba participated in one of our in-person and/or online workshops promoting workplace health and safety for newcomers. A full report on this work was shared with the provincial government, along with the results of a needs assessment.
The project has developed two videos to educate the international student workers about the Workplace Health and Safety Rights in Manitoba and the Steps to Follow a Workplace Injury
